Field Chemist

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking an individual who is qualified in chemical sciences and has a passion for scientific industries who is looking to build a career within a dynamic safety critical industry. All role-specific training will be provided, allowing you to expand your knowledge rapidly, challenge yourself and develop a desirable skillset. This will include industry-specific offshore training and on-site training.

Required skills and experience:

• Degree/Higher National Certificate in chemical sciences or another scientific discipline
  
• Experience in analytical and general activities performed in a laboratory under a chemical or another scientific discipline
  
• Highly proficient in computer programs such as MS Office and data entry/recording
  
• "Can do", continuous improvement, safety-conscious approach
  
• Organised and methodical in approach to work
  
• Sound communication skills, both written and oral
  

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The key focus of this position is to gain experience and knowledge in sampling techniques, scientific analysis and data gathering for interpretation by either Intertek or client personnel.
