Digital Product Owner – Brochureware & Marketplace
Locations: Glasgow, Edinburgh, London.
We have an exciting opportunity within our Digital Business Banking Team (Business Tribe) to develop and deliver a product vision and strategy for the Business Brochureware and Marketplace. The role focuses on improved customer experience and digital adoption, with a ruthlessly prioritised backlog aligned to the Tribe Objectives and Key Results.
Working hours: 28‑35 hours per week. This is a 12‑month secondment, with hybrid working enabled. The position is based at the London office, with occasional collaboration in Glasgow or Edinburgh.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision and strategy for the Business Brochureware and Marketplace.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (marketing, risk, finance, legal) to ensure prioritised outcomes meet regulatory and customer needs.
- Drive continuous improvement through the development of a ruthlessly prioritised backlog.
- Partner with the wider Business Tribe to set the roadmap within the Tribe roadmap and agreed OKRs.
- Lead the squad, fostering a high‑performing culture and embedding the company values.
- Collaborate and network with other teams across the organisation, building relationships with key business areas and Tribes.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience as a Digital/Technical Product Owner in an Agile environment.
- Comfortable working with technology teams and able to discuss technical decisions and risks.
- Strong backlog management skills: user story writing, refinement, servant‑leader mindset.
- Excellent communication, able to articulate complex messages, trade‑offs, and tell a compelling story.
- Influence diverse stakeholders with strong leadership and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Challenge mindset, embracing change and driving out‑of‑the‑box ideas.
- Experience applying customer‑first behaviours.
