We're supporting a leading financial markets organisation on a major trading and operational change programme and are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a high-profile Agile delivery team.You'll work across trading, clearing, pricing and operational initiatives, partnering with business stakeholders, product owners and technology teams to analyse existing processes, gather requirements, document workflows and deliver business-critical change.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyse and document business requirements across trading and operational processes
Facilitate workshops and work closely with users to understand workflows, use cases and system interactions
Create user stories, acceptance criteria and functional documentation
Perform process mapping, gap analysis and data analysis to support solution design
Manage and refine product backlogs alongside Product Owners
Support testing, UAT, implementation and delivery activities across multiple workstreams
Act as the key link between business and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle
Required Experience
Proven Business Analyst experience within Financial Markets, Trading, Exchanges, Clearing or Market Infrastructure environments
Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, order workflows and clearing processes
Experience producing high-quality requirements documentation, process maps and user stories
Strong stakeholder management skills across Front Office, Operations and Technology teams
Agile/Scrum delivery experience
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
Knowledge of BDD methodologies (Gherkin, Cucumber or similar)
Desirable
SQL and/or Python for data analysis and querying
Experience working with trading platforms, market data or post-trade systems
Exposure to technical BA responsibilities and data-driven projects
