Family Solicitor (3+ PQE)

An established legal practice is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join its growing Family Law team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to manage a varied caseload of private family matters within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters
• Advising clients on divorce and separation proceedings
• Handling financial remedy and matrimonial finance matters
• Managing private children law disputes
• Advising on domestic abuse matters and protective injunctions
• Drafting court applications, legal documents, and correspondence
• Conducting negotiations and progressing matters efficiently
• Attending court hearings and client meetings where required
• Delivering exceptional levels of client care
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements
• Managing billing, file progression, and departmental targets

Candidate Requirements

• Essential: Qualified solicitor with 3+ years' PQE in Family Law
• Experience managing a private family law caseload independently
• Strong technical knowledge across a range of family law matters
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Desirable: Experience dealing with complex financial remedy cases
• Advocacy experience
• Resolution membership or similar accreditation
