Freelance Site Agent – Civil Engineering / HS2 Warwickshire Freelance / CIS We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Agent to join a regional civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure works on HS2 projects across Warwickshire. The company has an excellent reputation within the civils sector and is involved in a range of works including earthworks, drainage, highways, reinforced concrete and associated infrastructure packages. This is a long-term freelance opportunity with immediate starts available. The Role Reporting into the Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. Key responsibilities will include: • Managing day-to-day site activities and subcontractors • Coordinating labour, plant and materials on site • Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme requirements • Overseeing health & safety and ensuring compliance across site • Reviewing RAMS, permits and site documentation • Liaising with engineers, commercial teams and client representatives • Managing site records, progress reporting and quality inspections • Supporting delivery across reinforced concrete, earthworks, drainage and infrastructure works Requirements • Previous experience working as a Site Agent within civil engineering • Strong reinforced concrete (RC) experience is essential • Experience delivering infrastructure, highways, earthworks or major civils projects • HS2 experience would be advantageous • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates required • Engineering background preferred • Ability to manage subcontractors, programme and quality on live civils sites • Strong communication and organisational skills The Company This regional contractor continues to secure repeat work across the Midlands and offers a stable pipeline of projects within the infrastructure and heavy civils sectors.
