HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our market leading client based in the Barnsley area.

We are looking for experienced Class 2 Tipper Drivers (working away) to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00am to 07:00am start times.

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour PAYE with £25 per night out allowance Location: Barnsley, S75 Job Type : Temporary to permanent.

The Role Operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle safely and efficiently.

Carry out tipper work, including the transportation and tipping of products such as aggregate, topsoil, etc.

Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and guidelines.

Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.

Ensure timely and efficient completion of assigned routes.

Will be required to work away from home, with accommodation provided in a paid hotel.

Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C) 2 years experience on Class 2 Minimum 12 months experience on tippers are required Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

Full understanding of WTD legislation.

Interview will be required (induction and short driving assessment will take place the same day) Excellent communication skills.
