Lead Mechanical Fitter

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting: We are looking for a Lead Mechanical Fitter for a permanent position based with our client in Hull Immediate start available (Subject to interview process) Salary is £52,000 per annum (depending on experience) This will be working Monday to Friday - 6:30am till 4:30pm (with occasional weekends in line with operations) Expectations Effective collaboration with operations, electrical and EHS teams to ensure alignment and efficiency. Oversee maintenance strategies for bulk handling equipment inclusive of cranes, belt conveyors, chain conveyors, bucket elevators, hoppers, silos, dust collectors and related components. Drive reliability improvements using root cause analysis. Ensure minimal downtime through effective preventative and predictive maintenance programs while attending breakdowns promptly. Flexibility to respond to operational priorities, including occasional out of hours support.Main Responsibilities: Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of bulk material handling systems Excellent attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks Basic IT literacy (SAP, MS Office) Comfortable working at height and within confined spaces Ability to work independently and as part of a teamQualifications: Minimum level 3 NVQ or city and guilds in mechanical engineering UK driving licence + Use of own car Relevant industry training (Health and Safety, manual handling, working at height, confined space, first aid at work) - Desirable.In the first instance, send CV's to (url removed) or call the team on (phone number removed) (option 1) for Engineering.
