Senior Hr Officer

My client is looking for an experienced HR professional with a strong track record in employee relations to join their HR Operations team initially on a temporary basis. The successful candidate must have extensive experience managing complex employee relations matters, including: * Grievances and disciplinaries, from investigation through to outcome * Employment tribunals and associated case preparation * Capability cases, managed fairly and consistently * Absence management, including sickness case reviews and liaison with Occupational Health You'll act as the go-to adviser for managers on these cases, keeping accurate case logs, monitoring trends, and ensuring every case is handled in line with policy, legislation and best practice. Alongside this, you'll provide broader day-to-day HR advice and support across the organisation, but it's your depth of experience in employee relations casework that's essential for this role. What we're looking for: * Significant, hands-on experience across grievances, disciplinaries, tribunals, capability and absence management * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to advise managers at all levels * A calm, methodical approach to sensitive and complex casework * Level 3 Certificate in HR Practice (or working towards it) Prize Placements is acting as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
