These resources include expansive data storage, thousands of compute cores, and advanced GPU clusters; everything needed to support groundbreaking research in fields such as genomics and bioinformatics. By aligning resources with the needs of a vibrant research community, you’ll ensure sustainable growth, efficient data lifecycle management, and robust business continuity.
Your role will also involve engaging with external partners and leveraging emerging technologies to enhance the institution’s computing capabilities, maximizing the impact of research projects. Ideal candidates will bring extensive experience in managing large-scale HPC platforms within research or academic settings, along with strong leadership skills and expertise in technologies such as CryoSPARC, AlphaFold, AWS, and Kubernetes. A solid understanding of data lifecycle management and scientific research processes is key, along with excellent collaborative abilities.
