- £38,000 + Package (DOE) Early Friday Finish | Career Progression | Growing Contractor The Opportunity Are you passionate about driving environmental standards and sustainability in construction? An established and growing civil engineering contractor is looking to recruit an Environmental Sustainability Advisor to play a key role in supporting environmental compliance and delivering sustainability initiatives across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and civil engineering projects.

What You'll Be Doing Supporting environmental compliance across multiple live projects Conducting site inspections, audits, and monitoring environmental performance Assisting site teams with environmental management plans and best practice Tracking key sustainability metrics (carbon, waste, energy, water, fuel usage) Supporting carbon reduction and Net Zero strategies Investigating incidents and driving corrective actions Delivering toolbox talks and environmental briefings Collaborating with clients, regulators, and stakeholders Contributing to sustainability reporting and PQQ submissions Maintaining ISO 14001 environmental management systems What We're Looking For Degree-qualified in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or similar 2+ years' experience in an environmental/sustainability role (ideally within civils, construction, or utilities) Strong understanding xwzovoh of environmental legislation and compliance Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities Full UK driving licence Why Apply?
