Finance Manager £55,000 – £60,000 | Office-based | Manchester A highly attractive opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join a fast-growing UK SME that forms part of a well-established international group. This is a key on-site role, offering real ownership of the local finance function and close involvement with senior management. This position will suit someone commercially minded, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a growing, project-driven business. The Role Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will lead the day-to-day finance function while ensuring accurate reporting and strong financial control in line with group standards. You will also manage and develop one finance team member. Key Responsibilities Lead the month-end close, delivering a fully reconciled trial balance for group reporting Full ownership of the balance sheet, including accruals, prepayments and fixed assets Oversee revenue, billing and receivables, supporting effective cash flow management Preparation and submission of VAT and CIS returns Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with group policies Partner with operational leaders on financial matters, including cost control and spend oversight Manage, coach and develop a Finance Administrator Act as the local finance lead, supporting audits and group finance requirements About You Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA or Qualified by Experience Proven experience in a hands-on SME finance role Strong technical accounting and balance sheet control Confident working directly with senior stakeholders Ideally experience in construction, engineering, services or project-led environments Comfortable in a fast-paced, office-based setting Why Apply? £55,000–£60,000 salary Key finance role with autonomy and visibility Growing business with the backing of a global group Opportunity to make a real impact as the business scales Similar job roles you may have applied for include - Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, Company Accountant, Financial Controller, Finance Business Partner.
