Tutor Gloucester Start Date: September 2026 Salary: £25.00 - £45.00 per hour Vacancy Ref: DF/APTUT/0926 Are you a qualified Tutor with QTS and proven experience delivering high quality tuition? Do you have experience working with pupils through Alternative Provision or alongside the Local Authority? Are you looking for a flexible tutoring role supporting students outside of mainstream education from September 2026? TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Local Authority service in Gloucester to provide Alternative Provision support for pupils in home and community settings. The provision focuses on re-engaging learners through a personalised, flexible approach, helping them build confidence and return to education. The service is looking to take on an experienced Tutor on a part-time basis, offering up to 15 hours per week from September 2026. The successful Tutor will be working closely with the Local Authority to deliver structured, well-planned sessions, supporting pupils accessing education through Alternative Provision and ensuring consistent progress through tailored learning.
