Registered Manager – Children’s Home (HX2, Halifax) An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established children’s residential home in the HX2 area. This is a 5-bed EBD service currently operating as a 4-bed home, at full occupancy, supporting boys aged 11+. The home holds a Good rating with Ofsted and benefits from a fully staffed, stable team, providing a strong foundation for continued success. 💼 The Role * Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the children’s home * Maintain and progress the current Good Ofsted rating towards Outstanding * Ensure high standards of safeguarding, care planning, and compliance * Support, develop, and motivate an established staff team * Promote a therapeutic, trauma-informed environment for young people * Build effective relationships with local authorities and external stakeholders * Oversee budgets, staffing, and overall service performance 🎯 Requirements * Proven experience as a Registered Manager or experienced Deputy ready to step up * Strong background within EBD / challenging behaviours * Sound knowledge of Ofsted regulations and inspection frameworks * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards) * Passion for delivering high-quality, child-centred care 💰 Package & Benefits * £57,000 base salary * £5,000 bonus upon successful registration * £6,000 additional performance bonus * £10,000 Ofsted inspection bonus * Opportunity to lead a stable, high-performing service ⭐ Why Apply? * Fully staffed, settled home with strong foundations * Supportive environment with clear progression and incentives * Opportunity to make a real impact on young people’s outcomes If you are interested in this role, please apply by sending your CV to my email or pressing quick apply.
