Warehouse Operative (Late Shift) – Temp to Perm Location: Basildon Salary: £29,215 per annum (£14.05 per hour) Working Hours: 12:30 – 23:00 (40 hours per week) Shift Pattern: 4-day working week (Rotating: 3 weeks Tuesday–Friday / 2 weeks Monday–Thursday) All Square Recruitment is pleased to offer a fantastic Temp to Perm opportunity for an efficient and proactive Warehouse Operative. This role is ideal for those who prefer a later start and a condensed 4-day working week, providing an excellent work-life balance while working within a vision-driven operations team. Key Responsibilities As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for the seamless receipt and dispatch of goods. Your duties will include: * Loading & Unloading: Safely handling goods, checking for damages, and ensuring all items are correctly stored. * Inventory Management: Utilising operational systems to maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy records of all client products. * Compliance: Ensuring all activities are completed on time and in strict conjunction with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Efficiency: Working alongside the Warehouse Manager to implement workflow improvements and reduce cargo handling errors. * Equipment: Operating forklift trucks (where qualified) to assist in daily warehouse manoeuvres. Requirements * Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential. * Licensing: A Forklift Licence is beneficial; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate. * Skills: High level of accuracy in paperwork, strong communication skills for inter-departmental relationships, and a proactive attitude. * Compliance: Candidates must be able to pass a DBS check and provide valid Right to Work documentation.
