This is an excellent opportunity to learn a skilled trade from experienced professionals. You'll work alongside a mentor who will provide hands-on training and support as you progress through the different stages of the role. There are plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and gain experience across various areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working with a variety of hand tools safely and efficiently.
* Measuring materials accurately using a tape measure (both centimetres/millimetres and feet/inches).
* Moving and handling panels and materials around the workshop.
* Supporting different teams across the production process when required.
* Producing work to a high standard with excellent attention to detail.
* Learning new skills and progressing through the different stages of the manufacturing process.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
* Following health and safety procedures at all times.
We're looking for someone who:
* Is physically fit and happy carrying out manual work.
* Is reliable, committed, and punctual.
* Has a positive attitude and is eager to learn.
* Is ambitious and keen to develop new skills.
* Is comfortable using hand tools (or willing to learn).
* Can accurately read a tape measure in both metric (cm/mm) and imperial (feet/inches).
* Works well as part of a team and is willing to help others when needed.
* Has good dexterity and takes pride in producing quality work.
The role offers full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm, on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
Pay: Starting from £12.71 per hour
As part of the recruitment process, successful applicants will attend a face-to-face interview, including a full tour of the facility to give you a great understanding of the business and what the role involves.
