Location: Luton
Rate: Up to £65 per hour (Inside IR35)
Security Clearance: Must hold or be eligible to obtain high-level UK security clearance.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to provide commercial leadership across multiple contracts and bid activities. You will play a key role in contract negotiation, commercial strategy, pricing, risk management and ensuring compliance with contractual and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and provide commercial oversight of multiple contracts and bids.
Draft, negotiate and administer complex contracts, terms and conditions, and commercial agreements.
Develop commercial strategies, customer pricing and bid proposals.
Manage contractual changes, performance, compliance and commercial risks.
Work closely with Procurement, project teams, customers and suppliers to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
Prepare commercial correspondence and secure relevant internal approvals.
Build strong stakeholder relationships and manage competing priorities effectively.

Essential Skills and Experience

Experience managing UK Government and international contracts.
Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial risk and mitigation strategies.
Understanding of business finance, profit and loss, margins, escalation and foreign exchange.
Knowledge of export legislation, import taxes and duties.
Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with SAP.
Willingness to travel within the UK, with occasional overseas travel.
