Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Orthopaedics, Elderly Care & General Medicine

About the Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist on behalf of our client, a healthcare provider, to work across orthopaedics, elderly care and general medicine.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team within an acute hospital setting, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and supporting patients to regain independence and achieve safe, effective discharge from hospital.

The successful candidate will have strong clinical assessment and rehabilitation skills, the ability to manage a varied caseload, and experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments across orthopaedic, elderly care and general medical wards.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to maximise patients’ independence and functional ability.
• Assess patients’ activities of daily living, mobility-related needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Provide specialist advice on equipment, adaptations and moving and handling.
