About the role
Managing Consultant – Education

Are you an experienced Education Recruiter with a proven track record of building a successful desk, driving performance, and naturally leading from the front?
Looking for a role where you can continue billing while stepping into a more strategic, influential position within a growing branch?
If so, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
The Opportunity
Our Manchester City Centre office is growing rapidly — ambitious, collaborative, and full of energy. With exciting expansion plans already underway, we’re looking for a Managing Consultant to play a key role in the next stage of growth.
This is a senior, hands‑on opportunity suited to someone with experience across SEND, Primary, or Secondary Education, alongside a strong 360 temporary recruitment background.
You’ll take ownership of a HOT desk with huge potential while working closely with leadership to help drive branch performance, support consultant development, and contribute to wider business growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing and growing a high-performing 360 temporary desk
- Supporting, mentoring, and motivating consultants within the education division
- Driving both personal and wider team performance
- Building long-term relationships with schools and education providers
- Working alongside leadership on growth strategy and market opportunities
- Sharing best practice and helping develop less experienced recruiters
- Contributing to a collaborative, high-performance culture
- Ensuring compliance and safeguarding standards are consistently maintained

- 23 days holiday + bank holidays + your birthday off + charity days
- Hybrid working (2–3 days from home per month)
- Wellness Wednesdays & early finish Fridays
- Online doctor service + critical illness cover
- Office perks including dogs, Friday drinks & in-house bar
- Ongoing personal and professional development
- Free mortgage consultation
- Two major annual company events + regular socials
