Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager Location: Suffolk and surrounding areas The Role We are recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager to join a growing M&E contractor delivering new-build projects across multiple sectors. This role suits someone technically strong who is ready to take ownership of projects and develop into a more senior position over time. You will be responsible for managing mechanical packages from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Project Sectors * Commercial * Education * Healthcare (including hospitals) * Leisure * Industrial * Residential / Accommodation * Power & infrastructure-related projects Key Responsibilities * Manage mechanical works on new-build projects from start to finish * Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers * Oversee programme delivery and ensure milestones are met * Manage quality control and commissioning of mechanical systems * Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations * Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams * Monitor costs and assist with variations and commercial control * Report project progress to senior management Candidate Profile This is not a senior-level role. The client is looking for someone dependable and capable, with the ambition to grow into a Mechanical Project Manager position.
