Technical Safety Engineer – Staff – LondonLocation: LondonThis is an excellent opportunity to join a world leading cleantech, renewable and alternative energycompany involved in the development of novel green energy and fuel solutions on a global scale with excellent career opportunities.Role & ResponsibilitiesThe role is working Client side on a large new exciting onshore energy project.Responsible for monitoring Technical Safety and Loss Prevention activities of the FEED contractor on behalf of the Client.Reviewing design and documentation provided by the FEED contractor to ensure compliance with all relevant Safety standards.Co-ordinating with other disciplines to ensure coherent approach by the FEED contractor to all technical safety related matters.Supporting Risk Analysis of the FEED deliverables.Acting as main Client point of contact for technical queries and clarifications.Monitoring delivery of HSE related philosophies.Checking the quality of subcontractor design work to ensure compliance with agreed client design specifications.Analyzing contractors RAM studies for any deviations or anomalies.Participate in relevant meetings, such as HAZID, Design Reviews, Model Reviews.Supporting the vendor management and selection process during the FEED stage.Reporting to the Engineering Manager on FEED contractor performance.Key Skills & KnowledgeMust be Degree qualified in relevant discipline.Chartered status highly advantageous though not essential.Experience of Technical Safety/Loss Prevention within relevant industries (e.g. energy. oil and gas, petrochemicals, etc.)Must have previous experience either working Client side or in a PMC role.BenefitsIn return the successful candidate can expect a market leading salary and benefits package coupled with excellent career progression opportunities as the company continues to grow.To apply for this role please complete the form below:
