Skilled Operative Derby (DE65 6EH) £220 per day 45 Hours Per Week Immediate Start Available Freelance / Agency Contract until November 2026 We are currently recruiting for an experienced Skilled Operative to join a major civils project based in Derby (DE65 6EH). This is an excellent opportunity for operatives with a strong background in civil engineering and groundworks who are looking for long-term work on a busy infrastructure project. The Role Working as part of an established site team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of civil engineering and groundworks activities while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and quality. Duties Will Include Drainage installation Excavation and trenching works Ducting and underground services Kerbing and paving Concrete works Earthworks and general groundworks Loading and unloading materials Requirements To be considered, you must have: Valid CSCS Card CPCS or NPORS Dumper Ticket Slinger/Signaller Ticket Proven civils and groundworks experience Experience working on drainage, ducting, concreting, kerbing, and excavation projects Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures Ability to work effectively as part of a team Whats On Offer? £220 per day 45 hours per week Long-term contract opportunity Immediate start available If you are a Skilled Operative with Dumper and Slinger/Signaller tickets and are available for your next contract, apply today with your up-to-date CV.
