Surrey Permanent Onsite £30,000 - £35,000 We're currently supporting a well-established engineering business with the appointment of an experienced Quality Inspector / FAIR Inspector. They're looking for an experienced Quality Inspector / FAIR Inspector to join their team and play a key role in ensuring high-precision components meet demanding customer and design standards. What will you be doing as a FAIR Inspector?

Your day-to-day will include: Carrying out in-process and final inspections

Completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)

Reading engineering drawings and specifications

Using precision measuring equipment

Reviewing supplier FAIRs

Raising NCRs and supporting quality investigations

Supporting customer returns and quality issues

Working closely with Production and Engineering to resolve problems

What are we looking for in a FAIR Inspector?

You'll ideally have: 3 years' experience in Quality Inspection or Precision Engineering

Strong GD&T and drawing interpretation skills

Dimensional inspection / metrology experience

Experience with FAIRs

Aerospace experience is a big plus

A proactive, hands-on approach to quality
