The Opportunity An exceptional opening has emerged for a technically astute Utilities Surveyor to join a Tier 1 Geospatial Consultancy .
Established for over 50 years, this specialist firm is a "safe pair of hands" for high-compliance infrastructure and heritage projects across the UK.
Unlike high-volume residential firms, this consultancy prioritizes "quality over speed," offering a structured environment where you take full ownership of the project lifecyclefrom initial site survey through to final data processing and CAD production.
This is an ideal move for a well-rounded professional seeking autonomy and the opportunity to work with high-end Leica/Trimble kit.
Technical Essentials To be successful in this high-compliance remit, candidates must demonstrate a "whole package" skill set, balancing field expertise with office-based technical proficiency: Qualifications: Minimum QCF Level 3 in Utility Mapping and Surveying.
CSCS card is mandatory; NRSWA (Street Works) and RICS (AssocRICS/MRICS) status are highly advantageous.
Site Expertise: Proven track record of a minimum of two years delivering utility surveying work on-site, managing projects independently, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Data Processing: Proficient in processing survey data and producing high-accuracy deliverables/drawings.
Software Proficiency: Strong CAD capability is essential.
Experience with BricsCAD , AutoCAD , or Revit for BIM integration is required.
Equipment: Competency with GPR, Radio Detection (EML), and GPS/Total Station (Leica P-Series/Cyclone preferred).
The Package Salary: Circa £40,000 (Subject to experience and technical experience).
