Community Events Support Officer

£13.26 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Community Events Support Officer to support the planning and delivery of events across parks and open spaces.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational and administrative skills who enjoys being part of community-focused projects.

The Role

• Administer and manage event applications from external organisers
• Support the planning and coordination of community events
• Ensure events are compliant with policies, safety requirements, and regulations
• Liaise with internal teams, partners, and event organisers
• Help ensure public safety and protection of green spaces
• Attend events when required (including occasional evenings/weekends)

Requirements

• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination ability
• Experience in events, local authority, or community work (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
• Basic DBS required
