CNC Setter/Operator - Day Shift Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4am-4pm Salary: Up to £20 per hour Location: Thetford TEC Partners are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join a growing precision engineering company based in Thetford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled CNC machinist looking to join a stable and well-established manufacturing environment with long-term career prospects. The Role The position will involve setting and operating CNC Turning machines to manufacture precision engineered components to customer specifications and engineering drawings. Key responsibilities include: Setting and operating CNC Turning Centres Tooling selection and machine set-up Adjusting offsets and machine parameters Producing components to tight tolerances Performing quality inspection checks Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Supporting continuous production output Maintaining health & safety standards within the workshop Requirements The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience as a CNC Setter/Operator CNC Turning / Lathe experience Experience with Fanuc, Siemens or Mitsubishi controls Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment Desirable Experience DMG MORI or Citizen machinery Multi-axis turning Live tooling Minor program editing Continuous improvement / production optimisation experience To find out more information about this role, reach out to Chris at TEC Partners
