An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Service Engineer / Foreman to join a well-established engineering team in the North West. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in the pump industry.

The Role:
You will lead a small team of engineers while remaining actively involved in the service, maintenance, and overhaul of a wide range of pump systems. This position combines technical expertise with supervisory responsibility, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support a team of field service engineers and fitters
Plan and coordinate service, maintenance, and repair activities
Carry out installation, fault finding, and overhaul of pump systems
Lead on-site jobs, ensuring work is completed on time and within scope
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Liaise with clients, providing technical advice and updates
Assist with training and development of junior engineers
Complete detailed service reports and job documentation

About You:
Extensive experience within the pump industry or rotating equipment
Strong mechanical background with excellent fault-finding skills
Previous supervisory or team leader experience
Engineering qualification (NVQ, HNC/HND, or equivalent) preferred
Good working knowledge of health & safety practices
Strong communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence

Desirable Skills:
Experience in workshop and xwzovoh site-based environments
Knowledge of electrical systems and controls
Experience working in sectors such as water, utilities, or manufacturing
