About the Role As a Quality Assurance Technician at our Sandown site, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high standard products with a keen focus on health, safety and quality.

Duties will include: Assisting the Process Manager with their responsibilities and duties including data analysis and audits.

Promote health and safety and maintain a safe working environment.

Perform tests and inspections on bricks, in the lab and on the factory floor, to ensure we maintain high quality standards.

This includes moisture contents, particle size analysis, sampling and dispatch for external testing, visual and physical checks of the extruded, dried and fired bricks and compressive strength testing.

Build a good working relationship with operatives on the production line.

Make sure all quality checks are meticulously recorded and monitored closely.

Be able to recognise when the quality is falling below standards and address the issue immediately by discussing with the team.

Hours of Work: Part time Monday to Friday, 10.00am to 3.00pm About You You will have/be: Strong communication skills Good numeracy and literacy skills with a high attention to detail Punctual and reliable with a positive attitude Able to effectively collaborate with colleagues to achieve quality goals Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative Willing to learn new skills and further your education Unperturbed working in a factory environment.

Keen problem solver Ability to adapt to different situations Strong Microsoft Office (Excel) skills are desirable Experience of working within a manufacturing environment is desirable About our Benefits Salary up to £18,607 (depending on experience) Annual bonus up to 4% 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
