SharePoint Administrator and Developer

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer & Administrator to join a large enterprise IT function on an initial 12-month contract.This role combines hands-on SharePoint administration with solution development, supporting both day-to-day operations and a range of business improvement projects. Working as the SharePoint Subject-Matter Expert, you will collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that improve processes, enhance collaboration and support organisational objectives. What You'll Be Doing Administering and supporting SharePoint platforms Troubleshooting incidents and resolving technical issues Managing change requests and system improvements Developing and enhancing SharePoint-based solutions Supporting integration of business applications and tools Driving process improvement initiatives Working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and define solutions Providing expert guidance on SharePoint capabilities and best practicesWhat We're Looking For Proven experience in SharePoint development and administration Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience delivering SharePoint solutions within a business environment Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement Ability to work across both support and project-based activitiesDesirable Experience Power BI Microsoft 365 technologies ITSM platforms and service management processes Business process improvement initiativesThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation undertaking a range of SharePoint and digital transformation initiatives whilst maintaining a healthy balance between project delivery and operational support.
