CNC Miller – Setter/Operator (Heidenhain Controls) Location: Poole Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive, depending on experience We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller – Setter/Operator to join our precision engineering team. The successful candidate will have experience setting and operating CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls to produce high-quality precision components. Key Responsibilities * Set and operate CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls. * Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications. * Produce precision-machined components to tight tolerances. * Select and change tooling as required. * Carry out first-off and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment. * Make tool wear and offset adjustments as required. * Ensure all work meets customer quality standards. * Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment. Requirements * Previous experience as a CNC Miller Setter/Operator. * Experience using Heidenhain controls. * Ability to set machines and make offsets. * Experience working to tight tolerances. * Ability to read engineering drawings. * Competent in using precision measuring equipment. * Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to producing high-quality work.
