Our client has recently won new client contracts, and requires a reliable and switched-on Asbestos Surveyor to support their existing team. You will be attending a range of commercial, industrial and domestic premises to conduct asbestos surveys and collect ACM samples. The ideal candidate will be able to prove strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience, and will be able to manage their time effectively. Experience / Qualifications: -Strong experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, within a UKAS accredited company -Will be qualified with the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent) -Fully conversant in HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines -Professional manner -Good literacy and numeracy skills -Profient using IT software
The Role: -Carrying out management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across client sites -Completing ad-hoc re-inspection surveys -Sampling from site and bagging correctly -Collating findings to produce site-specific technical reports -Acting as a key point of contact for clients, answering any technical or logistical issues -Maintaining strong relationships with clients -Wearing correct PPE at all times -Supporting the training of new surveyors
