Electrical Test Engineer London & South East Up to £50,000 + Van + Fuel Card + Overtime Mobile Role We're recruiting an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to join a growing technical contractor carrying out EICRs, inspection & testing, and remedial works across a portfolio of commercial properties throughout London and the South East. This role is ideal for a quality-focused engineer who takes pride in producing accurate reports, delivering high standards of workmanship, and building strong client relationships. The Role Carrying out EICRs across commercial sites Inspection, testing, and certification works Producing detailed and compliant reports Identifying defects and recommending remedial actions Completing remedial works where required Working closely with clients and site teams Ensuring compliance with BS7671 and industry standards Requirements 18th Edition 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent) Experience carrying out commercial EICRs Strong understanding of BS7671 Full UK Driving License Excellent reporting and communication skills Desirable Commercial remedial experience IPAF / PASMA Compliance contract experience What's on Offer Salary up to £50,000 Company Van & Fuel Card Significant Overtime Available Realistic Earnings of £60,000–£70,000+ Private Medical Cover Pension Scheme Ongoing Training & Development Clear Progression into Senior Tester, Supervisor, or QS Roles This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that values quality over quantity and offers genuine long-term career progression within electrical compliance
