Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator – Civils & Construction Location: Cornwall (hybrid working available) Permanent, full-time (flexible / part-time considered) Salary from £54K plus + excellent benefits TBC DOE We're looking for a commercially driven Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to play a key role in delivering high-quality tenders and driving business growth across a diverse portfolio of construction projects. What you'll be doing: * Leading the end-to-end tendering and bid process on projects up to £5M * Preparing accurate cost plans, estimates, and Bills of Quantities * Managing CVRs, forecasts, and project financial performance * Working closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality, compliant submissions * Negotiating with the supply chain to secure best value * Overseeing valuations, applications, and final accounts * Representing the business in client meetings and tender interviews * Driving innovation, efficiency, and commercial growth strategies * Promoting best practice across health, safety, and sustainability Requirements: * Proven experience in Quantity Surveying / Estimating within construction (new build & refurbishment) * Strong knowledge of NEC & JCT contracts * Experience managing CVRs, forecasting, and project financials * Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills * Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management * Degree or HNC (or equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline * Full UK driving licence & CSCS card Benefits: * Competitive salary with clear progression opportunities * Flexible and hybrid working options * Generous pension scheme * Holiday starting at 23 days rising to 28 + bank holidays * Option to buy additional leave * Ongoing training, development, and career progression * Wellbeing initiatives and employee discounts * Opportunity to take on additional ambassador roles within the business If you're a motivated commercial professional looking to take ownership, influence strategy, and make a real impact we want to hear from you.
