Graduate Engineer £34,000 per annum Permanent Wrexham Monday - Friday 8am - 5:15pm with an early finish on a Friday Additional Benefits Enhanced pension Discretionary bonus scheme Early finish on Fridays, plus 19-21 nonworking Fridays Employee Assistance Programme The Role A fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join a well-established global manufacturing business in Wrexham. This role is ideal for someone early in their engineering career who is eager to develop hands-on skills across mechanical, electrical, and facilities engineering. You'll work closely with the Engineering Department, supporting breakdowns, learning Planned Preventive Maintenance routines, and contributing to continuous improvement projects. Key Responsibilities Supporting mechanical maintenance, installation work, and basic electrical installation. Assisting with general facility maintenance and improvement projects, including working with external contractors. Following scheduled maintenance activities while remaining flexible to support Production and Moulding Operations. Developing a basic understanding of PLC programming, enabling minor programme adjustments. Contributing to energy-saving initiatives and improvement projects. Supporting TPM activities and assisting with automation equipment maintenance and production breakdowns. Requirements HND or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline). Ideally, working towards or interested in gaining the 18th Edition qualification. Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn and improve engineering systems. Interest in developing skills across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and facilities engineering.
