Qualified Bookkeeper Salary: £35k-45k DOE Location: Molesey, London

The opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of a growing organisation in the health and social care sector. They need a qualified bookkeeper to keep their financial records accurate and up to date, helping the business understand its finances and manage cash flow. You will report to the Head of Finance and work closely with the Accountants.
What you'll be doing Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts, and entering data into the accounting software
Filing and maintaining financial records
Paying supplier invoices and tracking bank account balances
Completing VAT returns
Preparing financial statements showing income and expenditure
Producing monthly cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheet reports
Preparing employee wages and managing expense claims
Checking the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Accountant to errors
Recording inconsistencies to help the Accountants reconcile inaccuracies
Contacting suppliers and clients to settle balances owed
Supporting the Accountants with administrative duties and the preparation of yearly accounts
About you Minimum of 2 years' bookkeeping experience
Proven experience using QuickBooks
Good knowledge of accounting software and spreadsheet programs
Good analytical skills
Able to work to deadlines
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to read and write reports proficiently
Excellent computer and internet skills, xwzovoh and willingness to keep these up to date Qualifications An accredited bookkeeping qualification is required, along with relevant certifications in bookkeeping and accounting software.
