About the role

Tax Director - Private Client Tax

London | Hybrid Working | Up to £125,000

Our client is a leading London accountancy, and advisory firm is seeking an ambitious Tax Director to join its growing Private Client Tax team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Associate Director, Senior Manager or junior Director looking for a genuine route to Partnership within a highly respected firm.

Working with high-net-worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs, trustees and owner-managed businesses, you will advise on a broad range of private client tax matters, including:

  • Trusts and estate planning
  • Inheritance Tax planning
  • International private client tax
  • Owner-managed business taxation
  • Succession and wealth preservation planning

The team continues to experience strong growth and is looking for an individual who can combine technical expertise with commercial awareness. Alongside managing complex advisory work and key client relationships, you will play an important role in identifying opportunities for growth and helping to develop the practice.

We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have begun building their own client following or can demonstrate a track record of winning work and developing professional networks.

A key attraction of this role is the long‑term career opportunity. The firm plans to appoint 2-3 new Partners over the next five years, supported by both continued growth and planned retirements. As part of this strategy, the focus is on developing future Partners internally, creating a clear and realistic pathway for ambitious individuals.

The successful candidate will possess strong technical knowledge across the private client spectrum, including trusts, IHT, international tax and OMB advisory work, alongside excellent relationship‑building and leadership skills.

In return, the firm offers an excellent salary and package of benefits, hybrid working, high‑quality advisory work, and the opportunity to join a growing team where your contribution can have a genuine impact on the future direction of the practice.

As an employer, we are committed to ensuring the representation of people from all backgrounds regardless of their gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, or any other aspect which makes them unique. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds to apply and would encourage you to let us know if there are steps, we can take to ensure that your recruitment process enables you to present yourself in a way that makes you comfortable.
