KS1 Class Teacher
Location: Northampton | Full-Time | September 2026 Start | Permanent Preferred

We're working with a supportive primary school in Northampton that is seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed teacher who is dedicated to helping young learners build confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.
The school is ideally looking to appoint on a permanent basis, although long-term opportunities may also be considered for the right candidate.
Role Highlights:
Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
Foster strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and social development
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning styles
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing clear feedback and support
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support pupil achievement
Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence, confidence, and resilience
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 in a UK primary school setting
Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies
A nurturing and adaptable approach to teaching and classroom management
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Passionate about supporting children's academic and personal development
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply and will be fully supported
