Director of Finance - South Yorkshire

Axon Moore are partnering with a global services business in South Yorkshire to appoint a Director of Finance, who will be the financial lead in the UK business. The UK business is experiencing significant growth with certain revenue streams up 40% on the previous year. The Director of Finance will report into the local Managing Director with a dotted line into the Group CFO based overseas at the international head office. This broad financial leadership role will include the following responsibilities:Leadership of the finance team and member of the senior leadership teamOverseeing all day to day and month end reporting activitiesLead the audit at financial year end ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with relevant accounting standardsBusiness Partnering the Managing Director, and supporting the commercial and operational activities in the business from a financial perspective The ideal candidate for this role should have the following background and experience:Qualified finance professional with experience in a financial leadership roleExperience working for a UK business within an internationally owned group would be advantageousServices sector experience preferredStrong controls and technical accounting experienceStrong business partnering skillsDiscipline(s): Executive
