Job title: Press Brake Operative Rate: £18 per hour Job location: Ripley What's in it for you? * £18 per hour * Permanent position * Opportunity to work within a growing manufacturing business * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Opportunities for training and career progression * Varied and interesting fabrication work Shifts: * Day shifts Hours per week: * 40 hours (Overtime available) Duration: Permanent Start date: ASAP Rate: £18 per hour £27 - Overtime Position Summary: Working within a busy manufacturing and fabrication environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating press brake machinery and supporting the production of a range of fabricated metal components. * Operating CNC press brake machinery safely and efficiently * Setting and operating machinery to produce components to specification * Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications * Measuring and checking finished components to ensure quality and accuracy * Carrying out general metal fabrication duties as required * Handling and positioning sheet metal and fabricated components * Supporting the wider production team to meet deadlines and production requirements * Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment Candidates will have: * Previous experience operating CNC press brake machinery * Experience within a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment * Ability to read and work from engineering drawings * Good understanding of measurements, tolerances and quality standards * Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team * Reliable and conscientious approach to work * Full UK driving licence desirable Contact: (url removed)
