HGV Driver Class C1e licence

We are a premier supplier of fine wines, beers and spirits together with dry goods, pasta meats and frozen fish to a wide range of discerning restaurants, cocktail bars and clubs through our wholesale and retail operations.

DRIVER (CLASS C1e)

Your principle role will be associated with making deliveries in the company's 7.5t refrigerated vehicle. We operate day time deliveries Monday to Friday plus occasional bank holidays 8am 4pm.

Your main job role will include the following:

Supply goods in any of the company's fleet of vehicles covering England and South Wales (palletised loads are broken down for handball delivery).

Ensure correct controls are maintained for non-ambient goods

Ensure daily checks are complete on any vehicle before use

Maintain cab in a clean and tidy way

Comply with all Tacho, DVLA and WTD requirements

Ensure all discrepancies, returns/refused goods are correctly recorded

Ensure all PODs are correctly signed and returned

Ensure any and all COD deliveries are correctly recorded

Whilst the majority of your role will be driving, at times, when this is not required, we would expect you to assist in the warehouse fulfilling any of the various roles:

Goods out - Pick and prepare orders ready for loading

Goods out - Assist with the loading of vehicles

Goods In - Assist with locating goods in the correct storage locations

Hygiene - Assist with any task required to keep the warehouse/yard clean and tidy

Hygiene - Assist with maintaining vehicles (washing) in a clean and tidy state

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
