We are currently recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Manager to oversee the delivery, performance and technical management of air conditioning and HVAC services across a key client contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC/AC professional who is confident managing engineers, subcontractors, client relationships and technical compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day delivery of air conditioning and HVAC services across the contract.
Lead and manage a team of AC/HVAC engineers and specialist subcontractors.
Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and remedial works.
Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.
Manage statutory compliance, technical standards and relevant legislation.
Monitor CAFM systems, ensuring maintenance records and job updates are accurate and up to date.
Manage subcontractors, including performance, quality, RAMS and compliance.
Act as the key technical point of contact for the client.
Attend client meetings and provide regular updates on service performance.
Manage budgets, quotations and additional works where required.
Identify opportunities for service improvements and cost efficiencies.
Ensure engineers have the appropriate training, qualifications and certification.
Support with technical projects, installations and lifecycle works.
About You
Previous experience in an Air Conditioning Manager, HVAC Manager, AC Supervisor or similar role .
Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning and HVAC systems.
Relevant AC/HVAC qualifications and F-Gas certification.
Experience managing engineers and subcontractors.
Strong understanding of PPM, reactive maintenance and statutory compliance.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Strong organisational and commercial awareness.
Ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy FM environment.
Desirable
Experience within a commercial facilities management environment.
Experience working on large corporate or critical environments.
Electrical or mechanical engineering knowledge.
IOSH/NEBOSH or similar health & safety qualification.
Experience managing a team and client account. xwzovoh
