About The Role: A mid-sized forward‑thinking, design‑driven placemaking studio is looking to welcome an Urban Designer into their London team. This role would suit someone who thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys working on ambitious, large‑scale residential master planning projects across the UK. With exposure to projects ranging from new towns to emerging communities, this is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to long‑term placemaking while developing your skills across all stages of the design process. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of large-scale residential masterplans, neighbourhood layouts and spatial frameworks for UK-based projects You will support the progression of projects from early visioning through to design coding, regulatory plans and detailed design stages You will prepare clear, engaging drawings, diagrams and visual materials using both digital tools and hand-sketching You will participate in workshops, presentations, and engagement sessions with clients, consultants and community groups You will produce well-structured written and graphic material to communicate design intent and project narratives You will work closely with senior team members to ensure design quality, project coordination and delivery standards are met A post-graduate qualification in Urban Design is essential An ability to demonstrate experience working on large-scale urban design or master planning projects in the UK Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, AutoCAD, and strong hand-drawing ability By applying for this role, you are confirming that you agree to our Privacy Policy (full details are shown at the bottom of our website), and that all details submitted by you are correct and to the best of your knowledge.
