Key Responsibilities * Plan and deliver adapted curriculum lessons across various Key Stages * Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. * Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families. * Monitor and assess student progress. * Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. * Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development. Requirements * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. * Understanding of SEND speicific teaching strategies such as TEACCH, SCERTS, Zones of Regulation * Experience teaching pupils with ASD, SLD, PMLD or SEMH. * Understanding of Total Communication - PECS, Visuals, Makaton or AAC use. * Excellent behaviour management skills. * Commitment to inclusive education
