This is a rare and exciting opportunity to influence a nationally significant programme that brings together health, research, education, innovation, sport and economic development to improve lives and create sustainable growth. As the only Olympic Legacy Park established outside an Olympic host city, Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park has already attracted more than £175 million of investment and become home to world-leading organisations spanning healthcare, research, education, elite sport and community wellbeing. As the Park enters its next phase of development, it will play a leading role in South Yorkshire's ambition to establish the UK's first Prevention Economy Innovation District —creating an ecosystem that brings together research, healthcare, education, innovation and enterprise to improve population health while driving inclusive economic growth. Working alongside the Executive Chair and fellow Board members, you will help steer long-term sustainable growth, strengthen governance, champion meaningful partnerships, influence strategic decisions and ensure the Park continues to deliver impact. Your insight, challenge and perspective will help shape how we grow, who we partner with and how we realise our ambition to create an environment where innovation thrives, businesses flourish and healthier futures become possible. Bring senior leadership, executive or board-level experience and understand the difference that strong governance can make. Think independently and aren't afraid to ask the questions others may avoid—always with the goal of helping the organisation succeed.
