For more information, visit corporate.carrier.com or follow Carrier on social media at @Carrier.Role: Project Manager (Modernisation team)Location: LondonContract type: Full time, permanent   Carrier now has an opportunity for a Modernisation Project Manager, based in the London area.The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of complex refurbishment, modernisation, and turnkey projects across the UK. The role is accountable for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.The Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and mobilisation through execution, commissioning, completion, and post-project review.The role requires strong leadership, project management, commercial awareness, and stakeholder management skills, with a particular focus on coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to achieve project objectives.What will you be doing?Lead and manage site teams, providing clear direction, motivation, and support to deliver project objectives efficientlyDevelop comprehensive project plans, manage resources, and coordinate activities to ensure timely and successful project deliveryFacilitate effective communication and collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, sales, and operational service teamsMonitor progress, provide regular project updates and reports to management and stakeholdersManage project budgets, expenditures, and report on financial performance, including accurate forecasting and target margin deliveryIdentify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks. Adjust plans as needed to minimise disruptions and ensure project continuity.RequirementsProven years’ experience in project management, preferably in HVAC, or construction related industry in similar building environmentsIdeally have knowledge of HVACR or similar industryExperience managing refurbishment, modernisation, construction, or turnkey projects.Experience using MS Project or similar project scheduling software.
