Temp to Perm Electrical Engineer Location: King’s Cross, London Salary: £48,000 per annum / £23.08 per hour PAYE equivalent based on a 40-hour week Contract: Temp to Perm Start: Immediate We are currently recruiting for an immediately available Electrical Engineer to join a global leading Facilities Management provider on a high-profile commercial site in London King’s Cross. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance engineer to secure a temp-to-perm position with a business that is expanding rapidly across the UK. The successful candidate will initially join on an hourly temp basis, with the role converting to a permanent position at £48,000 per annum. The Role You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a modern commercial building, ensuring all electrical and mechanical plant is maintained to a high standard. Duties will include: * Carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance across the site * Working on building services equipment including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, lighting, emergency lighting and general electrical systems * Basic fault-finding across mechanical plant and associated electrical controls * Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures and site standards * Updating and completing tasks using CAFM systems * Liaising with the client, helpdesk and wider engineering team * Supporting contractors and ensuring works are completed safely and professionally * Maintaining high standards across a busy, client-facing commercial environment Requirements The ideal candidate will have: * Electrical maintenance experience within commercial building services / FM * Strong knowledge of PPM and reactive maintenance * Experience working on systems such as AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and associated plant * CAFM system experience * City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent * 18th Edition preferred * Good communication skills and a professional, client-facing approach * Availability to start immediately or at short notice Package * £48,000 per annum * Temp hourly rate equivalent: £23.08 per hour, based on 40 hours per week * Temp-to-perm opportunity * Immediate start available * Opportunity to join a global FM business with rapid growth and long-term progression opportunities * High-profile commercial site in King’s Cross This role would suit an Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Electrician, Building Services Engineer or Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical bias who is looking for a long-term opportunity with a leading FM provider
