Contracts Manager

We are recruiting an InterimContract Manager for a leading Social Housing provider based in the West Midlands, supporting programmes across the local region on a 4-month contract.

As an InterimContract Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and managing contractor relationships and high quality budget conscious work.

Whats on offer: Rate: £30-£35 per hour Contract: 4-month interim assignment (potential for extension) Working pattern: Full-time (36 hours) Flexibility: Monday-Thursday on site and in office, Friday work from home About the Company Our client is a well-established Social Housing group managing a portfolio of residential properties acrossthe West Midlands and the surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities include: Lead on all reactive maintenance issues, ensuring swift, cost-effective solutions Lead on regulatory standards, compliancy and health and safety responsibilities Build strong, lasting relationships with scheme-based staff, partners and tenants as their trusted senior point of contact Ensure all properties comply with health & safety and legal obligations Manage contractor relationships, maintaining high-quality, budget- conscious work Oversee effective and efficient void works to reduce void periods and ensure our ready-to-let standard is maintained Drive process improvements, draft and review key policies, helping refine and elevate service delivery Provide reports on activity, progress and compliance of repairs, maintenance and health and safety against key performance indicators The successfulContract Manager will have: Strong experience within repairs, voids, planned works etc Is xwzovoh confident working with external contractors and maintaining relationships Can assess risk, challenge appropriately and provide assurance to senior stakeholders Cares about resident experience and understands the importance of quality homes Social housing experience Similar experience in previous post This role would suit an experienced Contract Manager available at short notice, looking for an interim opportunity within a reputable Social Housing organisation.
