Plant Production Manager

A global engineering and infrastructure organisation is seeking an experienced Plant Production Manager to lead shift-based manufacturing teams within a highly specialised industrial production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong operational leader with experience managing people, driving production performance, and maintaining high Health & Safety and quality standards within manufacturing. The Role You will oversee production operations across a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring teams deliver against production schedules while maintaining operational excellence. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage shift-based production teams * Ensure production targets and schedules are achieved * Drive Health & Safety and Quality compliance * Manage performance, absence, investigations, and disciplinary processes * Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives * Monitor operational KPIs and team performance * Coordinate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and support teams * Coach and develop production staff What We’re Looking For * Proven manufacturing or industrial production management experience * Strong people management capability * Experience leading shift-based teams * Strong Health & Safety awareness * Employee relations experience * Lean Manufacturing / CI exposure * Strong communication and organisational skills Package * £60,000 - £68,000 salary * 12.5% bonus * £6,120 car allowance * 37.5-hour working week * 4-day shift rotation * Long midweek breaks Shift Pattern Days Friday to Monday 07:00 - 17:30 Nights Friday to Monday 19:00 - 05:30 Tuesday to Thursday off.
