Trainee Assistant Site Manager - Residential Development Location: Chesterfield Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Assistant Site Manager to join a team on a residential development in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in housebuilding and site management. Working alongside an experienced Site Manager, you will gain practical, hands-on experience in all aspects of residential construction while developing the skills and knowledge needed to progress within the business. Key Responsibilities Assist with the day-to-day management of the construction site. Help ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Monitor subcontractors and support the coordination of site activities. Carry out quality inspections and help maintain build standards. Support health and safety compliance across the site. Assist with site records, reports, and documentation. Help ensure plots are completed on time and ready for customer handover. Work closely with the Site Manager, subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider construction team. Committed to maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety. Desirable Qualifications Construction-related qualification (or currently studying towards one). CSCS Card. Full UK driving licence. Previous experience on a construction site (including work experience or apprenticeships) is advantageous but not essential.
