Training Coordinator/Volunteer Support

Salary: £31,335 per annum

Hours: 37 hours

Duration: Up to 31st March 2027 (thereafter subject to continued funding)

Location: Colin Area

JOB PURPOSE

• To actively promote, develop and deliver the Colin Capacity Building training programme by providing high quality information, training and developmental support.
• To work with local voluntary and community organisations and groups to identify and secure relevant training.
• To increase opportunities within the Colin area for learning, skills development and employability through volunteering
• To increase opportunities within the Colin area for accredited learning, skills development and employability.
• To deliver a planned programme of training

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Third level qualification in a relevant field, e.g. Community Development, Training and Development, Education, Leadership and Management, HR
• At least 3 years’ experience of managing and supporting capacity building programmes.
• Experience of managing and supporting volunteers to include:
  • Identifying volunteer training needs through effective analysis and developing volunteer training programmes.
• Identifying new volunteering opportunities.
• Experience of delivering training and tracking outcomes
• Experience of working with statutory, voluntary and community groups
• Experience of monitoring and evaluating project outcomes, record keeping and report writing. Experience of completing funding applications and budget management
