Solidworks Mechanical Design Engineer

S. has established its reputation as a long standing partner for advanced engineering solutions in the water sector.   This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer, based in Widnes, Cheshire. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing mechanical designs, overseeing product design projects, creating P&ID's, creating technical drawings, and utilising 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (AutoCAD Plant 3D). The engineer will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver engineering solutions for water and wastewater treatment projects. Additionally, they will ensure that all designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.   Expertise in Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering principles Proficiency in System Design and Product Design Skilled in using 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (AutoCAD Plant 3D) tools for technical drawing and design Skilled in using photogrammetry software such as RECAP.  Experience in the water or wastewater industry is advantageous
